How it works

Three fields. One sky. Yours.

No account, no questionnaire — the same quiet ritual as a star map, with an astronomer’s engine underneath.

01

Tell us the minute

Date, time and birthplace. The rising sign turns a degree every four minutes — so the minute matters, and we honour it.

02

We compute the heavens

Sun, Moon and eight planets placed to a tenth of a degree, checked against JPL ephemerides. The star field behind them is the real sky over your birthplace.

03

Printed like an heirloom

Giclée on 200 gsm fine-art paper, framed by hand in the UK or US. Dispatched in 3–6 working days.

Every detail is real

Not a template.
A record of your sky.

The real sky behind your chart

No stock wheel, no decorative star pattern. Behind your chart is the night sky over your birthplace at the minute you were born — every star down to magnitude 6.4 that stood above the horizon, with the real constellation lines.

Planets where they really were

The Sun, the Moon and eight planets come from our own ephemeris, checked against NASA JPL Horizons: the planets to within a tenth of a degree, the Moon to within 0.07°.

Choose your night

Four rooms of the same sky

Every finish is the same honest chart — filled petals for the aspects between your planets, a leaf for each of the ten.

Questions

Good to know.

Will I see my chart before it prints?

Yes — every order. Within 24 hours of your payment we email you the finished file, exactly as it will be printed. If a date, a time, a place or a spelling is wrong, reply within 24 hours and we will fix it before anything goes to press. If we hear nothing, your chart goes to print after 24 hours so it still reaches you on time.

How accurate is the chart?

The Sun, the Moon and eight planets come from our own ephemeris, checked against NASA JPL Horizons: the planets to within a tenth of a degree, the Moon to within 0.07°. Behind them is the real night sky over your birthplace at that minute — every star down to magnitude 6.4 that stood above the horizon.

What if I don't know my exact birth time?

Give us your best estimate and watch the preview as you change it. The Sun and the planets barely move in a few hours, and the Moon about half a degree an hour — but the rising sign turns roughly a degree every four minutes, and the wheel and the stars behind it turn with it. If you can, ask someone who was there.

What do the petals mean?

Each petal joins two of the ten bodies that stood at one of five classic angles to each other — together, 60°, 90°, 120° or opposite — give or take a few degrees. Each leaf on the ring marks where one body stood, with its symbol beside it. The wheel is turned so your rising sign sits on the left, as on a traditional chart.

Is there a written interpretation?

No. The print shows where the Sun, the Moon and the planets stood when you were born, the angles between them and the real stars behind — drawn accurately, with nothing written about you.

How long does delivery take?

Your chart is made to order in a fine-art lab in your own country — UK orders in the UK, US orders in the US — and dispatched within 3–6 working days, then delivered by tracked courier. Delivery is free to any UK or US address and already included in the price shown. Prices are in pounds; your final amount and payment currency are shown at checkout.

Can I return a personalised print?

Because each chart is made uniquely for you, personalised items are exempt from the standard 14-day change-of-mind return. But if your order arrives damaged, faulty or not as previewed, we will reprint or refund it in full — that right is never affected. Check your preview carefully: the file you see is the file we print.

What sizes and finishes are available?

Three sizes — 30×40, 40×50 and 50×70 cm — as a museum print shipped rolled, or in a gallery classic frame in black, gold or silver. All four chart finishes — Copper bloom, Gold · Midnight, Garden on paper and Gold & silver — cost the same.
